 Leader: Ps. Jim Varsos
Lifeworx Bible School is the teaching, training, and discipling arm of Hills Family Church. It is a two year course run every Tuesday night through the school terms and is for anyone over 16 years of age who wants to grow and develop personally, spiritually and in their understanding of God's word - the Bible and the heart and vision of the local church.
With a variety of lectures and subjects covered, and an emphasis on practical application in and through the local church, students are equipped, enabled and empowered for effective service as God's people in the 21st century. With certificates offered at levels one & two, Lifeworx shapes courageous and powerful Christian faith, character and service in the local church and beyond.
Lifeworx is currently in recess.
Discovery
 Leader: Ps. Jim Varsos
This group addresses issues that flow out of the deep need within the human person to find purpose, value and significance. Discovery tackles the debilitating pressures of self rejection, worthlessness and the pain of poor image, providing a useful and practical foundation to deal with them and work them through.
As the course name Discovery suggests, it is a place of simply that - discovery. No one is counselled into what is right or wrong, good or bad, but rather given opportunity to challenge those belief systems that have caused us to become ineffective in our lives. Facilitators are trained to ensure that the group maintains an equal and respectful dynamic, without judgement, advice or correction.
Discovery offers a bible-based insight into how to set healthy limits with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers and even ourselves, to discover the truths that give us freedom to walk as the loving, giving, fulfilled individuals that we were created to be.
Discovery will empower you to challenge false belief systems, develop your sense of personal value and help you define your purpose.
Discovery is currently in recess.
